How long will it take for my package to arrive?
We take about 2-7 business days to create apparel products (t-shirts etc.), plus shipping, which is dependent on the type chosen at checkout. Speed and price depends on product type and destination.
97.66% of our orders are shipped within 5 business days. More than a half of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or less.
Do you offer shipping with tracking?
Yes, we do! Orders shipping with the overnight, express, and standard methods will always have tracking available. Meanwhile, orders shipped out with the economy, no rush, or flat rate method may not have tracking available.
SUSTAINABILITY / PRINTING INFO
Where are your shirts printed?
We currently use a few different printers, though the vast majority of our shirts are printed by Printful. They are well-known in the digital printing industry as among the best, able to deliver extremely high quality with a quick turnaround.
How are your shirts printed?
Our shirts are printed using DTG (direct-to-garment) technology. Essentially, your design is printed directly onto your shirt. The resulting image is often indistinguishable from a screen printed image, but one major advantage of DTG over screen printing is that there is zero overspray - no ink gets into the water supply.
What kind of inks do you use for printing?
We primarily use environmentally friendly water-based pigment inks for our direct-to-garment (DTG) printing. GT-3 inks are CPSIA compliant and Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on youth/children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. Also, GT-3 inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
We try to do our best to minimize waste in packaging and source eco-friendly packaging materials. Many of our packaging materials are either recyclable or biodegradable.
Who manufactures your shirts?
Before they are printed on, the vast majority (though not all) of our shirts are currently made by Bella+Canvas, as their manufacturing process and general business model exemplifies the high standards I've set for MerchOwl. Learn more about Bella+Canvas here.
In addition, I'm always looking to add more manufacturers to my arsenal that follow similar eco-friendly practices. We are currently looking into sourcing shirts made of hemp and organic cotton as potential options.
